Christoph Niemann是一位充滿創造力的超級畫家，平常他固定為紐約時報以及其他著名的出版社畫漫畫，但是更讓人吃驚的不只是這些有名的刊物上他所設計的漫畫，而是當他為了「好玩」而做的日常畫作。

平常他喜歡用豐富的想像力來隨意作畫，他把這些額外的畫作稱為「星期日素描」，少了平日的精明與見解，卻多了幽默又充滿創意的設計，他會將這些插圖放在時代雜誌以及紐約時報等較為正經的議題之間，比如說政治漫畫或是一些專欄插圖。
